Rachael Beehler is a rising senior at the University of Scranton, where she is majoring in Forensic Chemistry. Throughout her studies, she has enjoyed taking a wide range of chemistry courses including organic chemistry, biophysical chemistry, biochemistry, instrumental analysis, and inorganic chemistry. She loves gaining hands-on experience in the lab and learning about various analytical techniques.
Alongside the chemistry coursework, she takes criminal justice classes such as criminal law, criminal investigations, and principles of evidence, which furthers her understanding of how chemistry connects to legal and investigative fields. Her education has strengthened her passion for forensics, reinforcing her goal of making a meaningful difference by using chemistry to support justice. She is so excited to apply her knowledge at CFSRE and gain more experience in the field of forensic science.
