Caleb Edwards-Dugan is an undergraduate student at Lourdes University majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. As a student-athlete on the university’s baseball team, he brings focus, discipline and a strong work ethic to both his academic and athletic pursuits. Caleb has a strong interest in the intersection of biology and chemistry, with a passion for applying science to solve real world problems. Through coursework in organic chemistry, biochemistry, and related fields, he has developed a particular interest in forensic drug analysis. He aims to pursue a career in this area, where he can contribute to criminal investigations and public safety by identifying and analyzing controlled substances in a laboratory setting. Driven by curiosity and a desire to make a meaningful impact, Caleb is prepared to use his academic foundation and hands-on-experiences to enter the field of forensic science and help ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the justice system. Eager to continue learning, Caleb is excited for the chemistry summer internship at the CFSRE.
