Intern

Jordan Ziesse is a recent graduate from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor's degree in forensic science (chemistry concentration) and a minor in biology, as well as a Master's degree in Chemistry. She has developed a strong interest in forensic toxicology and has an academic background consisting of general chemistry, forensic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry.

Outside of academic work, Jordan continued to expand her understanding and love of this field by working for the University’s chemistry department as the Provost Assistant and as a general chemistry laboratory assistant.

Jordan is eager to apply her academic training in a professional environment to gain practical knowledge in sample preparation, analytical testing, data collection, and chain-of-custody procedures. Jordan is driven, detail-oriented, ready to learn, and ready to work. She is excited to continue developing her forensic science skills this summer as a forensic toxicology intern at the CFSRE.
