Jonneza Dulce is an undergraduate student at Old Dominion University pursuing a degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Medical Laboratory Science. As a dedicated Head Instructor and Demo Coach in Taekwondo, she brings sharp focus, strict discipline, and exceptional leadership to both her academic endeavors and athletic training.
Jonneza possesses a deep interest in the connection between laboratory science and law enforcement, with a strong passion for utilizing scientific data to resolve complex, real-world issues. Through her academic background in organic chemistry, cell biology, and genetics, she has cultivated a specialized interest in forensic toxicology.
She aspires to build a career in this field, aiming to support criminal and medicolegal investigations by screening and evaluating biological specimens within a laboratory environment. Guided by a strong sense of curiosity and commitment to public safety, Jonneza is ready to apply her educational background and practical laboratory skills to advance forensic science and protect the integrity of the justice system.
Eager to expand her knowledge, Jonneza is thrilled to be completing her forensic toxicology internship at the CFSRE, where she works directly with cutting-edge GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, and immunoassay instrumentation.
