Intern
Jared McChesney is an undergraduate Forensic Biology student with a minor in Biology. Currently, he attends Waynesburg University and is entering his senior year of college. Throughout Jared's time at Waynesburg, he has taken courses in Forensic Serology, Microscopy, Forensic Science and Evidence Examination, Microbiology, Statistics, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry. All of these classes have provided Jared with a strong background to succeed in the field of Forensic Biology.
Beyond the classroom, Jared is involved in student organizations and academic honors societies in Chemistry and overall academics. He enjoys learning new techniques in serology and DNA analysis.
Jared is excited to have had the opportunity to be a forensic biology intern at the CFSRE this summer to increase his own knowledge of forensic biology and gain new laboratory skills. He also looks forward to making new connections with others in the field of forensic biology to support his professional growth.
