Forensic Science Technician
Zach graduated from Kutztown University in the spring of 2023 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. During his undergraduate career, he did research on developing a solid-phase extraction to study illicit drugs in local wastewater under the direction of Dr. Julie Palkendo. This research sparked an interest into the forensic world and resulted in the pursuit of similar laboratory work. Zach is currently part of the toxicology team and is involved in the oral fluid DRE project as well as toxic adulterants, and is pursuing research into developing and validating analytical methods for the lab.
