Facility Administrator & Event Coordinator

Mirna GhemrawiMackenzie is a Southeast Pennsylvania native. She studied English Writing at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, played flute in the Symphony Orchestra, and played recorder in the Collegium Musicum. While at West Chester, she staffed the student Copy Center, where she fell in love with assisting people with their printing needs.

After graduating college, Mackenzie worked on a farm and apprenticed at an artisan creamery. She was awarded a full scholarship to the American Cheese Society Annual Conference in 2018. Mackenzie also worked at a community library, where she finalized the borough’s Sister City relationship and started an International Pen Pal program, earning a commendation from the mayor.

Mackenzie then worked for a manufacturer of spinning and weaving equipment while living in Boulder, Colorado. She worked in sales, marketing, and customer service, taught a macramé course, and led the shipping department. Now back in Pennsylvania, she is happy to share her varied skills with the CFSRE and support their mission.

In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys reading, looking at flowers, eating good food, and collecting vinyl records. She also loves watching movies with her husband and her cat.
