Forensic Chemist I

Alexandra Kuchinos

Alexandra earned her bachelor's degree in biochemistry and forensic science and her master's degree in forensic science from Cedar Crest College. She was recognized with the Outstanding Forensic Science Student Award at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Following graduation, Alexandra joined a GxP laboratory as a chemist, where she processed hazardous drug samples, developed and executed instrument qualifications, and conducted testing in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. 

Since joining CFSRE in 2024, Alexandra has contributed to a range of research initiatives, including sentinel, drug checking, toxic adulterants, and DRE DUID. She is also actively involved in STEM education, developing training materials for multiple educational programs and serving as the primary instructor for the forensic chemistry internship program.
