Samantha O’Hara is a recent graduate from Villanova University. She graduated with a degree in Comprehensive Science and a minor in Psychology. She also recently commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps. After completing an internship at Florida International University’s Global Forensic and Justice Center, her interest in forensic science was confirmed. After this summer, she will attend her Basic Officer Leadership Course for the Army, where she will receive training in leadership and tactics related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear operations such as hazmat, decontamination, nerve agents, etc. Upon completion of this course, she plans on returning to graduate school for a master’s degree in forensic science or going to medical school.
