Forensic Chemist II

Alyssa ReyesAlexis Quinter received her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Criminology from Rutgers University. During her undergrad, she worked in a 503A sterile compounding pharmacy and a cGMP 503B outsourcing facility rotating between DEA, QA, and QC. She was awarded for Zero Quality Control defects under Six Sigma.

She continued her education at Rutgers University by obtaining her Masters Degree in Forensic Science with a focus in Toxicology. Her research during graduate school focused on extracting and detecting drugs of abuse from the absorbent gel material found in disposable diapers. Alexis spent some time with the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office interning with the Toxicology department during her graduate studies. After graduating, Alexis worked as a forensic toxicologist in a CAP-accredited and SAMHSA-certified laboratory. Before joining the CFSRE team, Alexis worked as a Quality Control Chemist at a Chemical Manufacturing company specializing in silicones, silanes and polymers.
