Originally from Puerto Rico, Marimar is a senior at the University of Central Florida, majoring in its Forensic Science Chemistry track. In addition to her major, she is minoring in French and completing a Crime Scene Investigation certificate. After graduation, she is planning on pursuing her Ph.D. and continuing to study Toxicology and Anthropology. She loves to volunteer and has since done so at Braveheart Farm, Clean the World, her university’s Arboretum, and the local middle school. Her passions outside of forensics include martial arts, reading novels, learning languages, and dancing. Always open to new conversations, she can’t wait to meet and learn from all the wonderful staff, mentors, and other interns at the CFSRE! |
