Hi! My name is Maddie Burke, and I am very excited to be a Forensic toxicology intern this summer at the CFSRE! I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. This fall, I will be going into my senior year at West Chester University, where I am currently studying Forensic and Toxicological Chemistry. This past Spring, my research included the use of metal nanoparticles to enhance the Raman spectroscopy signal for novel psychoactive substances. Outside of my school work, I enjoy playing intramural sports, crafting with my Cricut, and being a member of CHAARG.
