CFSRE presents a reprise of its 2018 NPS Symposium, with the goal of bringing together international thought leaders and scientists, policy makers, health professionals, public health and public safety stakeholders working in or impacted by Novel Synthetic Drugs Crisis. The program will have a focus on global impacts of NPS. Professionals from across the world will share current knowledge on NPS trends and emerging threats, review of tools and workflows that have developed over recent years and will work together to imagine and anticipate some of the challenges in NPS in the years ahead.
Over the course of the three days, ten panels of invited international experts representing the latest work on novel synthetic drug pharmacology, detection and identification, harm reduction initiatives based on analytical drug checking data, and many other topics. Participants who are able to travel are encouraged to attend in person, to take full advantage of the interactive discussion sessions built into the program and the social/interaction opportunities of the event.
The goal of the symposium is to encourage information exchange, improve international cooperation and communication on the increasingly important topic of new and emerging drugs, and to share new discoveries, best practices, and insights not what is coming next in the world of new and emerging drug threats.

FULL COURSE SCHEDULE
*At the CFSRE, we always record all of our LIVE events and convert them into an archival, on-demand recording. This allows our attendees to view the event at a time that is more convenient for their schedules, as well as revisit the material at any time for a refresher of the course. We typically have the archival recordings back into the system for viewing within 24 hours of completion of that day’s event. For the NPS Symposium, we will have the recordings labeled in the specific day's folder before the next day’s presentations begin! This quick turnaround for our recordings will help keep the attendees viewing the archivals as close to real-time as possible during the course of the week’s presentations.
