Graduate Assistant
Sophie received her Bachelor’s in Health Science from California State University, Long Beach and is currently studying at Arcadia University to receive her Master's in Forensic Science. Her interest in biology has led her to work with The Center for her research project. Her thesis research will evaluate the FORCE panel on alternative reference samples, such as hair and fingernails, and validate a method for extracting DNA from these low-template samples. She is excited to be working and learning at CFSRE and can’t wait to see what other opportunities are in store.
